This is Lennox. Tomorrow at 7 am, he will be put to sleep in Belfast, Northern Ireland, solely because he RESEMBLES a Pitbull. He is actually an American Bulldog/Lab mix, but the powers that be don’t care. He was seized from his family TWO YEARS ago under the UK’s ‘Dangerous Dogs Act.’ It is absolutely heartbreaking to see that this innocent dog will be killed because of someone’s irrational fear. Breed Specific Legislations IS discrimination and it is WRONG. Saying it’s OK to kill Pits and Bully breeds and even dogs who LOOK like Pits is like saying it’s OK to kill someone just because they’re black or hispanic or asian. BSL is NOT ok and it NEEDS to go. Say a prayer for Lennox and his family tonight, and if you have a Pittie, pray they never have to go through what Lennox has to.
